Viet has been doing really well after his surgery! Thank you so much everyone for supporting him!!!
In the beginning there was a lot of pain for Viet, but the pain has been a lot better. It will be a tough 3 weeks coming up for him, but as far as the treatment goes, he is doing very well.
His baby brother Victor has also been doing well too! Viet is expected to be at the hospital till April, but it really depends on how his cells are growing. He still couldn’t eat or drink, he is also very tired, and the pain is being managed with strong morphine.
Right now, he is getting all his needs through an NG tube and IV, to keep him nourished and hydrated.

But so far, so good, everything is looking up for him, and we are waiting for the cells engraftment! We are hoping by the end of this week we will see healthy cells grow and make healthy blood cells for Viet.
We want to thank everyone so incredibly much for loving and supporting Viet, for all the gifts and donations to COTA for Viets Hope, and the prayers, everything! Words can’t express how thankful we all are. And thank you so much for reading these updates and keeping up with COTA for Viets Hope!! We simply can’t ever stop thanking you!
Now we focus on Viet’s aftercare, and as always, we will continue to add updates as soon as we can!
