The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support.
COTA makes a strong and positive impact on each transplant family who chooses to become part of our Family. Since 1986, that impact has resulted in life-giving hope for thousands of transplant families from generous contributors providing more than $100 million in support and guidance.
COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free to our families, and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Contributions to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association are used to assist the organization in our mission to help children and young adults who need or have had a life-saving transplant. Contributions are made with the understanding that COTA has complete control and administration over the use of the donated funds. COTA allocates funds raised in honor of patients to families who have a documented financial need directly related to the transplant.
If you would like to make a gift of stock or other securities, please call Rick Lofgren at the COTA office at 800.366.2682, or email Rick at gro.a1524532237toc@k1524532237cir1524532237.
Throughout the country, people have become COTA Miracle Makers and organized fundraisers in honor of COTA families, advocated on behalf of transplant patients, participated in COTA fundraising events, and made gifts to further COTA’s life-saving mission.
