Our Story
Isabel “Isa” was born on April 17th, 2024, and from the moment she arrived, she filled our lives with joy. Though her time with us was far too short, the memories we made and the work we now do in her name continue to bring us deep purpose and fulfillment.
At just three months old, Isa was admitted to the hospital for a feeding tube placement. After a successful procedure, routine imaging revealed something no parent ever expects to hear—our daughter would need a heart transplant. Isa bravely endured multiple heart procedures, but ultimately passed away due to complications from ECMO on July 31st, 2024.
Isa became one of the youngest organ donors in Mayo Clinic’s history, and in that way, she gave life to others even as ours was forever changed.
Through Isabel’s Impact, we are committed to honoring her legacy by raising funds for COTA to support families with children undergoing heart transplants. She is deeply loved, never forgotten, and her impact lives on in every life touched by this mission.
