Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) and how The American Legion Family supports COTA and our families.
For 40 years, The American Legion Family … including The American Legion Auxiliary, The Sons of the American Legion and The American Legion Riders … have raised more than $2.5 million, and volunteered thousands of hours, to help COTA kids. The American Legion Family assists transplant families across the country to help ensure that no child, teen or young adult is denied a life-saving transplant due to financial barriers. Funds raised in each Department or Detachment stay in that state to help transplant kids, with the only exception being to help an active-duty or veteran family as requested.
