Celebrating Aidan’s Lucky 13 with you!
Today is a milestone we weren’t sure would come just a few short weeks ago — Aidan’s 13th birthday. Thanks to the gift of transplant and the incredible care and support surrounding him, Aidan is doing so well. He and his mom, Nichole, have even been out and about in New York City, taking in the sights, sunshine, and vibrant energy.
Even though he won’t be home to celebrate this birthday (shout out to RMHNY!!) we want to share the day in a special way — with all of you who have stood by Aidan’s side.
That’s why we’re so excited to launch Aidan’s Lucky 13 Birthday Fundraiser!
💙 What is Aidan’s Lucky 13?
To celebrate Aidan turning 13, we are raising funds for COTA in honor of Aidan’s Battle, which supports a lifetime of transplant-related expenses, with joy, gratitude and a little bit of luck. Here’s how it works:
- Donate in multiples of 13 ($13, $26, $39, ect)
- Reply with a birthday wish below
- Every donation = one entry into our Lucky 13 Giveaway
- Aidan will draw the winners in a LUCKY 13 days from today
💡 Instead of giving $13 multiple times, give a larger Lucky 13 amount to enter higher prize tiers!
- $13 – $39 — entry into the small prize drawing
- $40 – $78 — entry into the medium prize drawing
- $169 + entry into the BEST prize drawing

✅ Important details:
- Donations must be made through the COTA for Aidan’s Battle site (you’re already here!)
- Anonymous donations cannot be entered into the drawing
- No purchase necessary; a free mail-in entry option is available
- Winners will be selected at random, notified within 48 hours and prizes (donated by our support) hold no cash value
💙 Why COTA
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) receives contributions to help offset transplant-related expenses. COTA then dispenses funds to families to assist with those life-long expenses. Contributions to COTA are tax deductible and IRS compliant
