Today is Bexley’s 2 year liverversary! What a rollercoaster it has been! She has been through so much and yet she shines no matter what. My little sunflower girl!🌻

Even on the hardest of days I can see God was there with us in the midst, giving us the strength to get through the next minute. Sometimes that came in the form of a provider saying “I prayed for her during the procedure” or a special nurse friend stopping by after their shift to play with Bex to make her laugh and smile. They always made a hard day less hard with their kindness. In how people all over have prayed and supported our girl and our family on this difficult journey. For those who have donated and continue to donate to her COTA account, thank you! God has provided comfort and provision in so many ways and we are just so grateful. I have said it many times and I will say it again and again..ordinary days are extraordinary to us! I will never take a “boring” day a home for granted.

I have come to know more medical terms and conditions than I ever thought I would. I have learned to read and understand lab results and what they mean. And the truth is, I will never stop researching, learning and advocating. This is my job as her mother. God gave me this role. He equips and guides and knows the prayer of my heart even when I can’t find the words. He is good and He is faithful. Our life is evidence of this!

And to our anonymous donor out there.. I don’t know who you are or what made you decide to make this selfless gift to my baby but thank you. Thank you for giving my sunshine girl another chance. I pray God blesses you beyond measure. 💛💛💛
