Update on Bex:

As of right now, we are scheduled for her transplant on 8/28, but this morning, I heard from her transplant coordinator, and they submitted those exception points that moved her up on the list. If a better match comes through, then there is a chance we will go before 8/28.

Please continue to pray about this and for our family. It is so hard, but we thank God for answered prayers and His continued provisions.

We are supposed to go back to Duke this week for a transplant clinic and scope, but with the storm coming this way, we may change the appointments to be safe.

One thing I would like to ask everyone to pray specifically for is the donor (and all organ donors). I believe it is the most selfless gift in the world, and I’m just so grateful to all who make the tough decision to help others in this way.
