My favorite part of the day was getting to put my arms around this precious little sunshine! She got out of bed and stood up for about 5 minutes, which was great! 🌻

Yesterday was a tough day. She ended up getting sick about 1am and then again as soon as she woke up this morning. They managed it with some meds. She has been resting most of the day, and the team backed off a lot on giving some of the new meds so we could try to recover from yesterday’s events.

As everyone continues to pray, please pray specifically that her bowels can get moving. I feel like this would help her feel more comfortable on so many levels. They will have to replace her NG tube if they don’t wake up soon. Continue the prayers for no rejection, infection, or scary complications. This is important always but especially the next 3-6 months. 🧡

Pray for her precious donor. I wish I knew how they were doing. I’m so grateful for their selfless gift. I hope one day Bexley will be able to meet them. 💛
