Today was a little bit better, and I’m just so proud of my sunshine girl! We played a little, and I even got to hear her giggle some. Music to my ears!! PT came and got Bex out of bed to walk some in the room. Later, we had her stand for a few minutes while we gave her a wipe down and cleaned her hair the best we could! She was pretty tired after all that and rested most of the afternoon. They were able to cut down on her pain meds. Her bowels still need to get going, but they are slowly moving. All baby steps forward today!

One of her favorite nurses brought her a present, and it brought me to tears. An Elsa with the same “rainbow” scar. Bexley LOVED it! The nurses and staff here at Duke are exceptional!

Tomorrow, they will be adding some new meds that she will have to take for the next several months. Please help us pray that she will be able to take these meds without any problems or reactions.

Please continue to pray for no rejection, infection, or complications. Pray she will take and tolerate her meds. Pray for the precious donor. 💛🧡🌻🧡💛
