Asking for continued prayers for our little sunshine girl.🌻
The transplant surgeon called me today. After reviewing her scans and biopsy, he feels Bexley needs a Cavogram. They will go in and look at her vessels where the narrowing is and possibly balloon the areas if needed. This will be done under sedation and will require a hospital stay. She will likely need blood thinner shots twice a day for a while after. He wants one particular doctor to do this who is currently in London until next week, so we do not have a date yet. We have a scheduled clinic visit next week where we will get labs and see the transplant team. I assume we will know by then when this procedure will be scheduled.

Please pray specifically for improved labs, an uncomplicated procedure when she does have it, no pain, and an easy recovery.

When I told her she was going to need a procedure that would require us to stay in the hospital, she was happy she would get to eat Panera mac and cheese and see her favorite nurses. That is my girl. A little sunflower with her face always to the sunshine side of things!💛🌻💛
