Today is Bexley’s 1 year liver-versary! Today, we celebrate her and honor her selfless donor with all our hearts. A donor we have not yet met but hope to one day. It has not been easy, and there have been bumps in the road, but God has been with us every step of the way. He is so faithful. Bexley has faced it all with courage. She always looks at the bright side of every situation, which is why she will forever be our sunflower girl!🌻Our family has changed, and we have been stretched in ways we could never fully put into words, but we are together stronger because of it and rooted in the firm foundation of Christ. We are so grateful for all the love and support you all have shown our family and appreciate the continued prayers. Most people think you get a transplant, and all is well after when the truth is that transplant is a treatment, not a cure, so we welcome those continued prayers for our sunshine girl!
Today, we are skipping school and celebrating this wonderful milestone all day long. We are grateful. We are blessed.
