Nov 7 Update – Katie

Our Katie is a fighter. Everyday is a gift, and another challenge for our girl. Further to her leukemia/lymphoma, she has been diagnosed now with a fungal blood infection and a bacterial blood infection. The fungal one has the doctors concerned as it is in the spinal fluid and brain.

They just finished a CT scan showing some damage to the kidney and liver. Areas of her skin continue to be extremely concerning, causing considerable pain and concern as it is bleeding and adding risk for further infection We are grateful for the brilliant and genuinely caring doctors and nurses at Children’s Hospital. Please continue to pray for her, as we are asking God for miracles.

People have been sharing their love with the family and asking to help. The family asks that you please donate blood at your neighborhood blood bank if you are able.
