The term for the day is “cautiously optimistic.”  Katie is more stable today than she’s been in several days. We’ve been warned that sometimes it is two steps forward and one step back. We remain hopeful that she is improving – there’s quite the road left ahead of her.  Teams of doctors have been working together and reaching out to specialists around the nation to find ways to help Katie.  We are so grateful for the experts and for your prayers; please continue praying. 

Many have offered to help the family during this process. The biggest support the family can think of is donating blood at your local blood bank. Katie has had to use quite a bit and the blood banks are dangerously low.
