It’s March which means it’s Kidney Disease Awareness month! Every day is Kidney Disease Awareness day for us, because we remember what goes into each day for our little warrior Echo. From long nights of dialysis & still having a bucket full of medicine to go through each day to his few months stay after receiving his kidney transplant to all of us now having alarms set on our phone reminding that he gets his 2 daily doses at very important times of the day. We are so proud to have watched our little warrior be able to flourish and now see life as a normal 3 year old. He has missed out on 2 + years of bath time, pool days and beach trips. We can not wait til this summer when we get to see him be the little fish that he already is. We also want to celebrate a special person who gave Echo this chance of an amazing life with donating her beautiful kidney. Echo’s super hero, Sophie Anderson!
