Elijah had his first clinic appointment today at Lurie’s and verything is checking in great! His dressing is dry and intact. ECG looked good and the Doctor doesn’t think any meds need to be changed at this time. Unfortunately, Elijah’s IV meds were delivered to his parents home instead of the Ronald McDonald House so his father had to make a distant trip to Mendota and back because the family needs to have at least one emergency bag of meds at all times.

The hopeful plan is to go back to clinic on Thursday for an echo, ECG, and labs; As long as everything is good, Elijah may be discharged to his family’s true home.
