Today is hospital discharge day! Woohoo! Thank the Lord!
Several tests still aren’t back yet…and yes, she still has rejection based on her echo and biopsies; but, her Allosure test that can be an indicator of active rejection is down to 0.25 which is great news! Her BNP is still high but much improved. Her kidney numbers are stable. There’s not much more we can do for her inpatient that we haven’t already done.
So what’s next? Well, that’s a good question that we don’t have an answer to yet. The team conferences on her today. They have been thinking over the weekend as to what treatment we try next. We have been thinking…. There’s just a lot to consider and right now none of us know the best answer. This is going to be a week by week, month by month thing where we go based off of what Ela’s labs, echo, and body are telling us.
We will definitely be coming back up here in 2 weeks for an appointment and probably monthly after that. We did learn some more information about long term expectations this trip. We will update on that at a different time.
For now, we are rejoicing to be going home and being reunited with the boys!

Thankful you will be going home soon. I can imagine how excited you all are. Thank you so much for all the updates and especially the pictures. How sweet they are. Love & prayers
