Just wanted to give a quick little update. Gillian has improved a tiny bit throughout the day. Her nurse said she has about 8 liters of excess fluid that is making her body work really hard. Her diuretics are working and her output is just about 3 liters. They have stopped one of the meds they were giving her to help her lungs open up a little and come down a little on the pressure of the air going into her lungs. They said it was going to be a slow ween off of these machines. They have to keep her sedated because she fights the machine too much and tries to take off the mask. She is so strong and she just needs a little more time to get back to where she was yesterday. Love you all. We are so appreciative of the lovely messages, thoughts and prayers in our behalf 💜💜
