As of today during morning rounds, Jude was finally fully taken off his 5-10 day fasting orders!!! Jude told his child therapist Dr. Wassom today the hardest part of this hospital admit has been the extremely LONG fasting order (Remind you he has a picc line, IV & NG tube) I would agree, stuck in a room with your baby starving for food for days, having NO answers to when he can eat again is brutal & I felt my closest to a breaking point….

Minsky’s Delivered him his favorite pasta(please God, NO GI surprises). The prayer/hope is tomorrow we can try get discharged out of Children’s Mercy & go back to our airbnb one step closer to Manhattan Home & get used to our new normal(transplant medical & medication schedule). Today is the brightest day we have had, since his brothers & Nicole came to visit Saturday. Thank you for all of the support & love!
