Hello! We wanted to post an update to let you all know that Kennedy has been moved to priority status on the transplant list. She is now listed as status “1B.” This change to priority status is standard with UNOS, and is due to the volatility of her genetic disorder. Generally speaking, 50 people or less are listed as priority status on the waiting list at any given time. This increases Kennedy’s chances of getting a new liver sooner than later. Other than that, we are trying to enjoy each day that K feels well. She absolutely loves being outside and being in water! She is such a happy girl and we love to see those smiles!
We also wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that has donated to COTA for Kennedy so far. We are absolutely blown away by everyone’s generosity! Please know that every single dollar is appreciated and allows COTA to help us in this journey we are on.
