We got to join Kennedy around 10 am this morning. Lots of people still checking in and keeping a close eye. Technically speaking everything went very well. Just trying to find the right balance of pain meds and sedative to keep her comfortable but not too drugged up. Relieved to be with her but very hard to see her like this. Just sitting with her and staying as close as we can right now, we won’t be able to hold her today (most likely) because of everything shes connected to. We are thankful the liver is a good match and for her team that performed the surgery overnight.
