More great happenings!

It’s only been about 2 weeks since our last post, and between many appointments, interviews, and getting our toes wet with fundraisers, we have continued to celebrate milestones that Liviah has been conquering!

In regards to interviews and upcoming events, we have shared Liviah’s story with a few local stations and a few international stations. Here is a quick clip of Liviah’s story on our local news station:

WCPO Channel 9 Story on Liviah

We continue to do our best to fulfill the purpose that is placed before all of us, and during one of the interviews someone mentioned something along the lines of… ‘We cover so many hard, sad things, and it’s great to get a hero story and put it out there.’
That really pulled at my heart strings in the best of ways- we are grateful everyday to be where we are in Liviah’s Journey, and sharing her story. Seeing and feeling her light each and everyday is inspiring to us, and we hope that it is to others as well.

To keep this a quick read, check out the pictures and captions to see all the amazing things that Liviah is doing:

Liviah got to take her first dip in Nana’s pool the first weekend out of school. We are hoping to get a few more trips down to Nana’s this summer!

While Jaxson was at a summer camp, Liviah and I ventured out to our local amusement park to ride a few roller coasters in the rain. She is absolutely fearless when it comes to rides!!

Liviah had her dance recital, which was a HUGE milestone! We went from doing zoom lessons, where she was SO TIRED and just sat and watched her dance class, to her first back to in-person class at the end of April, then to her dance recital in June!!! She did so, so amazing, and we are all so incredibly proud of how hard she worked to get there!

We’ve taken a couple trips to the zoo, and still have yet to see all of it, haha. Liviah walked around the whole time we were there, and was excited to see her favorite animals- The Painted Dogs and Red Pandas!

Over the weekend, Liviah and Jaxson had their last soccer game, which again, was a HUGE milestone for Liviah. I remember in February, our goal for OT was to be able to stand on the sidelines for her soccer practices/games… Liviah blew that out of the water, and was back on the field playing with her team- just SO AMAZING!
We also had our first bon fire of summer break, which meant our first ooey, gooey s’mores of the season!

*One very important thing that is not pictured: We had a follow up doctors appointment, and it went great. We are going to wean her off one of her blood pressure medications, and pray that her body adjusts without any issues. Her next blood draw is closer to the end of June and we are so hopeful that things will continue to move forward in the right direction!

We are continually blessed with Liviah’s health (amongst so many other things for our family). We have an upcoming event at Culver’s of Mason, on Wednesday, which I add to our events, and we hope to do a few other fundraisers for COTA in honor of Liviah over our summer break!

It is our goal to raise $55,000 for COTA in honor of Liviah to help with a lifetime of transplant-related expenses! Any little bit helps, so please consider donating by hitting the “Donate Now” button!

Thank you for taking the time to check in on all of the wonderful things that are happening in Liviah’s life. We are forever grateful to God, her donor and donor family, her doctors, and all of those who have prayed and continue to pray for her!!

Love,
Liz & Jack
