Today marks 1,000 days since Liviah’s transplant.
1,000 more days that she has gotten to live, all thanks to her donor! Within those days, she’s had ups and downs, but we wouldn’t trade them for anything! This past summer, an ultrasound that showed unfavorable changes led to an MRI to check on the changes of the lesion. Results were shared with experts from liver, radiology, and pathology and the conclusion was that although the lesion had grown, which wasn’t what we wanted, it is still proportional with her liver due to her liver increasing in size. So we’ll take it, and continue to pray for great health, and for her to continue to enjoy the life she’s living!!
Other than that, girlfriend continues to thrive! She started a new school year and is enjoying her extracurricular activities. Today, she brought home a picture that she drew at school, and even though she wasn’t aware that it was her 1,000th day with Teddi (her new liver), it truly proves that God is always with us.
