Yesterday we received a called from Duke informing us that they had received an offer for Magnolia which appeared to be very compatible to her. This morning everything was cleared from the donor’s end and Magnolia to proceed with the transplant. It is 10:30am and Magnolia is officially under surgery. The surgery can take from 6-12 hours. We kindly ask that you pray for Magnolia and also the donor’s family as they are grieving for their loss. Thank you once again for all the love, support and prayers. 🫶🏻 —————————————————

It is now 6:40pm Magnolia is out of surgery. She will require a second surgery due to her body being too swollen to close up. She is expected to have the second surgery either on Monday or Tuesday please continue to pray for her, especially during this time that she remains open. May her swollenness go down and not obtain any infections. Thank you again for the ongoing prayers.

Ayer recibimos una llamada de Duke informándonos que habían recibido una oferta para Magnolia que parecía ser muy compatible con ella. Esta mañana, todo fue aprobado tanto por parte del donante como de Magnolia para proceder con el trasplante.

Son las 10:30 a.m. y Magnolia oficialmente ha entrado a cirugía. La cirugía puede durar entre 6 y 12 horas. Les pedimos de la manera más atenta que oren por Magnolia y también por la familia del donante, quienes están atravesando el dolor de su pérdida. Ahora son las 6:40 p.m. y Magnolia ha salido de cirugía. Necesitará una segunda cirugía debido a que su cuerpo está demasiado inflamado para poder cerrarla completamente. Se espera que esta segunda cirugía sea el lunes o martes.

Por favor continúen orando por ella, especialmente durante este tiempo en el que permanecerá abierta. Oremos para que la inflamación disminuya y que no desarrolle ninguna infección. Gracias nuevamente por sus constantes oraciones.
