June 29, 2026 Update

Today, Magnolia started Cycle 5 of chemotherapy.

It feels like another mountain to climb, but we are walking into it with hope, faith, and confidence that God is holding every step of the journey.

Our surgical team has prepared us by explaining that these next two chemotherapy cycles may be especially challenging due to Magnolia being a liver transplant warrior, her little body has already endured so much, and these treatments may now be harder on her than before.

Even knowing that, we choose faith over fear.

We firmly believe that God has far greater plans for Magnolia’s life than we can currently see. Time and time again, He has carried her through impossible moments, and we trust that He will continue to strengthen her through every treatment, every lab result, and every difficult day ahead.

If Magnolia could put this journey into words, we’re pretty sure she’d flash one of her beautiful smiles and say:

“I’m doing it with a smile because cancer isn’t going to kick my butt… I’m going to kick cancer’s butt!”

She continues to remind us what courage looks like not because she isn’t facing something hard, but because she faces it with joy, resilience, and a smile that points us back to God’s goodness.

Please continue praying for Magnolia as she begins Cycle 5 that God would protect her, strengthen her little body, and allow these treatments to accomplish their purpose. We believe the best chapters of her story are still being written, and we can’t wait to see how God continues to receive all the glory through her life.
