One Step Closer to Home
Unfortunately, Magnolia has not received medical clearance to head back home just yet, but there was still plenty to celebrate with a little confetti because Magnolia was finally discharged from the hospital!
Over the next few days, Magnolia will have several clinic visits so her transplant team can closely monitor how she does outside of the hospital. This week will be her test week for clearance to finally go home!
Her family is praying that all of her labs, scans, and checkups come back looking good so that, God willing, they can finally return home after 3½ long months away.
For now, they’ll continue making their temporary home in Durham and taking things one day at a time. They are SO close.
Please continue praying alongside Magnolia and her family that this will be the week they finally receive the green light to go home!
Fun fact: Even though Magnolia was born early and has faced so many medical complications, she is actually their Rainbow Baby—and today is National Rainbow Baby Day! What a beautiful way to celebrate her!

Desafortunadamente, Magnolia todavía no ha recibido la autorización médica para regresar a casa, pero aun así hubo mucho que celebrar con un poco de confeti porque ¡Magnolia finalmente fue dada de alta del hospital!
Durante los próximos días, Magnolia tendrá varias visitas a la clínica para que su equipo de trasplante pueda monitorear de cerca cómo responde estando fuera del hospital. ¡Esta semana será su semana de prueba para recibir finalmente la autorización de regresar a casa!
Su familia está orando para que todos sus análisis, estudios y chequeos tengan buenos resultados para que, si Dios lo permite, finalmente puedan regresar a casa después de 3 meses y medio lejos de ella.
Por ahora, continuarán haciendo de Durham su hogar temporal y tomando las cosas un día a la vez. Están MUY cerca.
Por favor, continúen orando junto a Magnolia y su familia para que esta sea la semana en la que finalmente reciban la luz verde para regresar a casa.
Dato especial: Aunque Magnolia nació prematuramente y ha enfrentado tantas complicaciones médicas, ella es en realidad su bebé arcoíris, ¡y hoy es el Día Nacional del Bebé Arcoíris! ¡Qué hermosa manera de celebrarla!
