It’s been a super eventful month for our family, with Manny now serving as Secretary of the National Homeschool Honor Society this year which is indeed a great honor:

In addition, after nearly 2 years in the making, we would like to share about a MOMENTOUS and GARGANTUAN gift Manny received that we hinted of in a previous blog post! Manny is humbled to not only have been selected to have his dream fulfilled but also captured on film by the stellar and incredibly generous Make a Wish crew, as a ton of creative videography and editing went into this:

Manny knows and understands that the greatest gift of all is salvation by faith and grace alone which guarantees him a place reserved in heaven, based on the finished work of our sinless Savior, Jesus Christ, taking the punishment for our sins upon Himself on the cross over 2,000 years ago. For this we give ultimate thanks!

Regarding Manny’s post-op incision, although we are still not 100% sure the wound is fully healed, it is at least no longer oozing random fluids and Manny has a follow-up appointment soon, so we look forward to providing another update about that!
