Her comfort level is improving some and her blood pressure has stabilized on oral meds and she is having some output from the kidney. Unfortunately, her labs related to her kidney have worsened overnight, so she will remain in ICU and is scheduled for a biopsy of the kidney in the morning. This will hopefully give more insight as to whether she is rejecting the kidney or if it just needs more time to wake up. We are praying so hard it is just being slow to wake up!! Today we will be working on getting her to eat and drink more, do lots of breathing exercises and hopefully get up more. She is very weak. Keep those positive thoughts and prayers coming please. She is not out of the woods yet. Thank you all so much!
I also want to say thank you to those that have reached out to Dalton and Allison during this time. Dalton is working and house/petting sitting
for a neighbor that has been in the hospital and Alli is in school and pet/house sitting for us. I know this is hard for them not being able to be close with everything going on, but I am so proud of each of them for stepping in to do what needs to be done. So thank you again to everyone for watching after my family on both sides of the continent!
