Every day I’m wondering when we will get our next call…
And today was the day.
The transplant coordinator called us this morning. Someone felt led to donate a kidney and has passed all testing. After running the list, Maverick came up #1!!!
And…the blood test is a perfect match when they ran the test.
The team is working on booking the OR for May 5th. Maverick needs to have a final blood test at the end of April in a few weeks + and to stay healthy. 😭🙌🏻💚
Please be praying that…
1. Maverick stays healthy for the next +month!
2. Our next blood test still looks just as amazing!
3. The amazing donor – grateful for this selfless gift – and that they would also stay healthy!
We will be working on short-term housing, preparing to live in Phoenix for a few months and making sure everyone at home has what they need to finish out the school year.
