Our coordinator and amazing nurse, Christie was just here giving us an update. The resection of the bowels is just finishing up. The islet harvest continues on in the lab. They had estimated it would be sometime after 8pm for that to be finished. They will let us know what the islet yield is when it’s completed. Still more ahead, but so super glad that My is doing great.

It’s officially 12 hours since they went back and started anesthesia.
