Well that didn’t last long

My got their epidural turned off early this afternoon. They started running a fever again. My was finally able to cough some of the junk out that’s had them a bit raspy, so we are hoping that help. Once the epidural was out pain intensified pretty quickly. They also got really nauseous once they stood up, and had to sit for a long time before they could attempt to get back into bed. Since the pain was so severe, the team decided to put My back on the epidural. Every change in Mylin is sent not only to the PICU team, but also to the surgical team. With My having such severe nausea the last two days after standing, and it lasting longer each time, dr’s decided to add another nausea medication back in. Once these were in the mix, My started to get really out of it and sleepy again. We aren’t sure if this means they will still get to move to the regular floor. I am pretty sure they want the epidural out before we do so. For now we just have a very sleepy My.
