A Rough Few Days — Catching Up
We wanted to check in with an honest update, because you all have been so faithful in
following Remi’s journey and we want to keep you in the loop.
The past few days have been a bit of a rough stretch. Remi’s potassium dropped
Tuesday night, which meant the team needed to hold off on his diuretics Wednesday
while they worked to get his levels back on track. Since then, we have just been trying
to play catch up, adjusting, monitoring, and taking it one day at a time the way we have
learned to do.
If things don’t improve significantly over the next few days, Remi is scheduled for a
paracentesis on Monday, a procedure to drain the fluid that has been building up in his
abdomen. We are hoping it doesn’t come to that, but we are also grateful that the team
has a plan in place and is staying ahead of things.

As always, thank you for your prayers and your patience with us as we navigate days
like these. The hard days are easier knowing so many of you are out there rooting for
our boy. ��
