Day 24: Still Here, Still Fighting

We didn’t expect to still be writing from Boston when
we posted last week, but here we are, and we are at
peace with that.
This past week brought more changes than we
anticipated. Plans shifted, timelines moved, and there
were moments that were hard to sit with. But Remi has
kept fighting, and the team at Boston Children’s has
continued to show up for him in every way imaginable.
We are learning to hold timelines loosely and keep our
focus where it belongs: on getting Remi the absolute
best care, for as long as that takes.
Being more than 3 hours from home for going on 4
weeks is not easy. Your love and support have meant that we can stay right by Remi’s
side, and that is everything. We are so thankful for this community.
