Jacob had labs this morning, and his creatinine looks stable! šš»
We have clinic tomorrow morning where we meet with the nephrology team and surgeon. Iām hoping they tell us we donāt need to come back until next week.
Monday will be a quick procedure to remove the stent in his ureter. Heāll be under anesthesia, but the whole process from start to recovery only takes about an hour.
It seems, according to my calculations, that his fluid input/output is leveling out. There is so much data to keep track of, not to mention all of the medications and the timing/rules that go along with that!
Itās a lot to stay on top of.
Weāve also been somewhat nomadicā¦traveling between friends and relatives who have been so welcoming and helpful in taking us in. Weāve been living out of a suitcase for a while! Iām hoping that as Jacobās medication gets to an acceptable level, our visits to the hospital will become less frequent. š¤š»
As if this wasnāt enough chaos, my motherās funeral is next Friday, March 6th. Steve and Carter will fly up midweek for that and stay through the weekend. So even though itās not the best of circumstances, Iām really excited to see them. I havenāt seen Carter for over a month, and I miss having Steve with us.
Thatās all for now! Continued prayers, please, for us all to move on up and out of Pittsburgh and back to Florida! I also miss my own bed. š“
