It’s been over six months since Kennedy’s surgery! 

We planned to have a big celebration with the family to celebrate but unfortunately could not gather because she got sick again. While she has been making great progress overall where she no longer needed to take some medications and weaned her off steroids, soon after she battled RSV she came down with a stomach virus. 

She had complaints of tummy pain so she had more lab work done and we found out that sadly she was in a rejection state again. Her LFTs jumped considerably and it looked as if she was also fighting a bacterial infection. She had an ultrasound and had to get a COVID swab in the event that she needed a liver biopsy — but thankfully we got news today that she does not need the biopsy completed!  She has improved so much over the past few days after adjusting her medications, that her city visit tomorrow will just be a check-up for her (and Caden!)
