We are officially two months post-transplant and Kennedy has been doing great! Her lab work results have been so amazing, that she was able to skip a week of testing! 

Unfortunately, the delay in our posting of updates is due to news that we received about Kennedy’s baby brother, Caden. We have found out that Baby CJ was also diagnosed with Alpha-1, and on top of that, it has been determined that he has biliary atresia. We are grateful that there are treatments and a surgery scheduled to help him heal with an incredible team of doctors at Morgan Stanley’s Children Hospital. We are confident that he will follow in Kennedy’s footsteps and be a strong little warrior! She is the constant reminder that all is going to be okay.
