Vale ha tenido un buen día.
Ya pasaron la ronda el neurólogo, cardiólogo y el cirujano. Todos están muy impresionados porque Vale no ha tenido ningún déficit aparente a pesar del infarto. Vicky dice que es un milagro y que no podemos perder la fe.
Habían pensado en cambiar las válvulas de corazón de Berlín porque tiene algunos depósitos de coágulos (que en realidad siempre ha tenido) pero el cirujano vino y los miro y no piensa que sea necesario.
Le van a aumentar la dosis del anticoagulante poco a poco y monitorizar para que no haya ningún sangrado.
El consenso general del equipo de trasplante es que entre más rápido sea el trasplante mejor entonces van a ser un poco menos minuciosos para aceptar un corazón para Vale.

Hi everyone.
Vale is having a great day today.
Neurology, cardiology and the cardiac surgeon rounded today and they are all very impressed with how Vale is doing despite of a recent stroke. Vicky says this is just another miracle and is asking me not to lose my faith.
The initial plan was to maybe change the Berlin heart’s valves since it still has some blood clot deposits (those have actually been there forever) but the surgeon took a look at it and was not concerned about it. The plan is now to increase the dose of the blood thinners little by little while monitoring for any bleeding.
The general consensus by the trasplant team is that Vale needs a heart ASAP and they won’t be as picky on choosing a heart for her.
