Hola todos!
Esta semana ha sido de muchas actividades con Amalia en Orlando tratando de mantenerla ocupada. Yo de vuelta al trabajo y la tía Katty con Amalia en la casa hasta que yo llego para hacer siempre algún plan.
Vale ha estado con Vicky y sigue muy bien. Ya no estamos dándole fórmula sino leche normal con pediasure y le ha ido mucho mejor. Ha estado trabajando con terapia física más en forma para fortalecer las piernas y tratar que se pueda sostener porque con el corazón de Berlín no la dejan gatear. Ha sido muy duro porque no se queda quieta y quiere bailar y gatear todo el tiempo pero poco a poco creo que va a poder lograr caminar (a no ser que llegue rápido el trasplante).
Ha tenido mucho movimiento el hospital, más que todo por niños nuevos que admiten pero los trasplantes han estado muy lentos y, como siempre le digo a Vicky desafortunadamente no depende de nadie.

Estos son los números de Vale a la fecha de hoy:

Días hospitalizada: 182
Días en lista de trasplante: 167
Días con el corazón de Berlín: 162

Hi everybody.
This is been a busy week for me. I’m back to Orlando with Amalia and cousin Katty.
We try to keep Amalia busy with different activities in the afternoons.
Vale is doing great as usual. We are feeding her mostly with just whole milk and pediasure (no formula anymore) and solids and she is liking it more.
She’s been working more with physical therapy and they are trying to strengthen her legs so that she can hold herself. Because of the Berlin heart she is not allowed to crawl so hopefully she’ll be able to start walking (unless the transplant happens before that ????)
Vale’s medical floor has been very busy lately in terms of new admissions but very slow on transplants.
I always tell Vicky: unfortunately nobody has control over when it’s going to happen.

Days on the Berlin Heart: 162
