After the hurrying to get Zoe down to California, the Zorn family is now split between or Oregon and Palo Alto.
Here are the text updates from Surgery Day:
Zoe’s chest is now closed. Carol and I just met with the surgeon. He told us everything went real good. No bleeding, nothing unexpected. Smooth operation. Carol will be with her in about an hour in ICU.
Zoe now completely closed and cleaned up. In her cardiac ICU room. Carol is there with her. She is fully sedated and on a respirator, will remain that way for 24 to 36 hours. Allowing healing from the operation. Now the balancing of rejection and fluids and infections is being closely monitored. Not out of the woods yet but everything progressing very nicely. I will update as I hear. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. Keep it up please!
