Happy Season of Giving!
Our first round of giving has been completed and we wanted to update you on some of the amazing things your money has accomplished. We were able to impact five families (with many more to come) of children undergoing heart transplant. Links provided if you wish to read more about them.
* Joy is a one year old girl who has spent a good of her life in the hospital awaiting a life-saving heart transplant. They have incurred many travel expenses, with many more to come once a heart becomes available for sweet Joy. (https://cota.org/cotaforjoy/)

* Betty is a four year girl who received her heart transplant when she was just one month old! Betty was diagnosed with the same heart condition as our hero, Isabel. She is doing great but a large portion of medical bills are out-of-pocket and won’t stop anytime soon as she will face a lifetime of transplant expenses. (https://cota.org/cotaforbettysbigheart/)

* Ivy is a five year old girl who is currently waiting for heart transplant. The family lives over an hour from the hospital and has a great deal of travel expenses, not to mention medication expenses not covered by insurance. (https://cota.org/cotaforivysheart/)

* Alina is a five year old girl who just received her life-saving heart transplant in September! Alina is doing great but both parents have been on unpaid leave from work since June to be with their little girl. The money you have donated is allowing them to help with household expenses while they experience this financial hardship and fully support Alina. (https://cota.org/cotaforalinasheart/)

* Leonie is an 8 year old boy who just received his heart transplant earlier this year after spending over eight months at the hospital before his transplant! His grandmother, who is his primary caregiver, has experienced significant travel expenses to be with Leonie full time. (https://cota.org/cotaforleonie/)

Your donations are helping families focus on the most important thing in their life– their children. We can’t thank you enough for making an impact!
How amazing that sweet Isabel has blessed so many and that you and Matt have used your heart ache to make such a difference! Love you and your heart! Isabel will never be forgotten!
