Yesterday, Cassidy underwent an additional procedure to increase the blood flow to the liver. It was a very long (over five hours) surgery, but Cassidy’s surgery was a success! Thank you Jesus- the surgeons and the entire GI medical team are amazing, because they were able to detect this and correct it by shooting a dye to find this very delicate vessel that was narrow, limiting blood flow.
The team also took two biopsies – one from each lobe of the liver. Please join us in prayer that both of the biopsies show that her liver is healthy.
Cassidy and Jamie will stay in the hospital for several days.
