A HUGE update for Evelyn!!
One of the biggest stressors we’ve been carrying since June has finally changed.
Evelyn’s antibodies have come down enough that she has officially been taken off the antibody restriction.
When we first found out she had developed antibodies, she was sitting at 30%. In simple terms, that meant about 30% of potential donors could be ruled out because of her antibodies, leaving roughly 70% potentially compatible from that standpoint.
Today, she is down to just 3%.
30% → 3%.
This is HUGE for her.
It means her potential donor pool is significantly wider, and one more barrier between Evelyn and the heart she so desperately needs has been removed.
We have been watching these numbers, hoping, praying, and stressing over them for months. To finally see them come down this far is such an incredible relief.
So tonight, we celebrated. 
We ordered some food from our local favorite, Francisco’s Restaurant , and let ourselves enjoy a little moment of good news. Because after everything this girl has been through, we think she deserves to celebrate every win. 
We are still waiting. We are still taking things one day at a time. But tonight, we are celebrating this one.
After months of worrying about antibodies standing between Evelyn and her heart, seeing that number come down to 3% feels like a door opening a little wider. 
We’ll gladly take every bit of good news we can get.
