Evelyn received a blood transfusion after her hemoglobin dropped to 7.5. She got a full unit of blood, and no surprise — she’s feeling a lot better today. I’m so incredibly grateful for the people who donate blood. It really puts into perspective how important and life-changing it is.We’re hoping this will be the only transfusion she needs to get her to transplant. ❤️

Meanwhile, Santa is still trying to figure out how to sneak into her room with gifts in the middle of the night without waking her! Leave us suggestions, and we’ll make sure Santa has all the options🎅🎁
While you’re out crossing those last few items off your list this weekend, please consider a gift that truly changes a life. A contribution to COTA for Evelyn’s Heart is a gift of hope and support that lasts far beyond the holiday season. Let’s help Evelyn and her family go into the New Year feeling the full embrace of this amazing community. Thank you for being here.
