No big updates, but sometimes the biggest victories don’t come from test results, scans, or medications. To say I’m proud is an understatement.
Today, Evelyn started walking.
After everything she’s endured over the last month (yes its been almost a month since her LVAD was place),
Not her acting like she didn’t just go through the biggest battle of her life so far.
While we’re all standing in awe of what she’s overcome, she’s already focused on what’s next. That’s just who she is.
Every step today was a reminder of how far she’s come and how hard she has fought to be here.We still have a long road ahead, but today is a win worth celebrating
