3 months post transplant

February 16th brought us to 3 months post transplant!! Hank is growing quite a bit! He is standing almost all the time now, making his way around the coffee table and couch. He talks a blue streak, he knows many words and this week his favorite was FUNNY. Everything was FUNNY and then he would laugh. So cute. Clinic days in Boston are every week, either Tuesdays or Fridays. Minor tweaks in medication are always happening and very typical post transplant. Rob is feeling much better and has been “cleared” by his doctors as recovered!

There are two upcoming events. 1) Keep Gardner Beautiful! For this spring, anytime from now until May 5th, collect empty nip bottles in Gardner on the sides of all the roads and a local liquor store will pay five cents for every bottle! All proceeds going to COTA FOR HANK. Watch our event page for more details or reach out to Joan Madden.

2) Our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament will be Saturday September 7th. We will begin our planning in March, so watch for registration and flyers. If anyone wants to be involved with our planning committee, please let us know.

Anika and Rob would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone that contributed last year. Staying in Newton and Watertown for the months of December and January made a world of difference to be able to get to the hospital within 30 minutes was such a game changer!

Anika and I took Hank to the playground the other day to swing and slide. He loves the slide!! As the weather improves I am sure we will be doing alot more of this.
