Lincoln gets weighed everyday to see how his body is reacting to TPN. Since he does hold on to fluid, weight isn’t a good indicator of nutritional growth, but we can see if he’s losing fluid like we want. He’s been getting a lot of diuretics, so when we saw this morning that he lost some weight, everyone was so excited! To top that off, his arm size got bigger, which means he’s actually growing as well. We were assured by our team that Lincoln is getting transplant offers, they’re just too big. We’ll keep praying for a tiny liver to come our way! We are currently on day 6 of being on the waiting list and Lincoln is still stable with smiles.
