Cholangitis

We were discharged yesterday from our rejection scare admission, but then last night Lincoln was inconsolable, heart rate in the 200s, and febrile. We took him to the ED where they gave him Tylenol and started on bloodwork and fluids.

Once we were transferred to Duke, the outside hospital found Lincoln’s blood cultures to be positive. He’s now on antibiotics and we are waiting to hear if we will actually do a biopsy this time to see how his liver is being affected in all this. His liver labs did get bad again, but we’ll just have to see what happens next.

Luckily Lincoln is feeling better. He was really scaring us, but now is just a little more tired than his usually self. We have another long stay in the hospital for IV antibiotics with less than 24hrs at home between admissions.

We ask that everyone please pray for Lincoln. We pray that he has a successful future. We pray for good health and smiles. We pray we get to spend more time at home with our happy boy!
