Lincoln is finally 3 months out from his transplant. What does this mean? We dropped a few medications from our regimen, we visit the doctor less, and we get to be more lenient with infection prevention. Caveat, however, is it’s cold and flu season. We still don’t want Lincoln getting sick and he has a higher chance of doing so, so we will still be cautious with him.
Since transplant, Lincoln has had two emergency surgeries, a bout of rejection, and a blood infection. Since August 25, we have been home with good labs and a good feeling baby! We now get labs every other week, which Lincoln is very thankful for, and they’ve been looking pretty good!
A few weeks ago, Lincoln got a repeat xray of his wrist and foot. Both look great! The calcifications in his foot are still transporting, but is definitely better. His wrist looks less wonky and he’s using it for everything! He’s rolling, sitting on his own, and wiggling trying to crawl.
