Good Morning, Friends!

Here are some updates for the weekend:

1. Natalie has developed a fever. They are running blood work, x-rays, and ultrasound to try to find the cause of the fever. Please pray against infection and that they can find the cause quickly to treat it adequately. 

2. They are continuously increasing her food intake, she is up to 60mls. They continuously monitor her sugar levels to see how she’s tolerating the food, but last night her sugar did get high. 

3. Natalie’s platelet count was really, really low after surgery. They feel it was due to all the fluid retention she is experiencing. Her platelet count is finally up to around 300, however, it has to be 500 before she can start a certain medication. The drop in platelets has hindered them from starting all medicines they want, so please continue to pray that her platelet count increases. 

Natalie has continued to get up and down from the bed, which is a praise! This does make her extremely tired though. We are grateful for all God has done so far. The nurses have bragged about what a rock star she is….which we already knew.
