Day 17: Hanging In and Holding On

We have officially been on this journey for 17 days,
with 13 of those days since Remi’s Kasai procedure.
Recovery has not been a straight line, there have
been ups and downs, unexpected turns, and
moments that have tested us in ways we didn’t
anticipate.
But we are still here, still together, and still so
grateful.
We will be staying in Boston a little while longer to
make sure everything is responding the way it should
in Remi’s tiny body. For those of you who have been
following along and sending love our way: we feel it.
It has helped carry us through days that might

otherwise have felt impossible.
