Remi’s Kasai Surgery: A Big Day for Our Little Fighter
Today was a big one.

Remi underwent his Kasai procedure this morning, and we are relieved and grateful to
share that the surgeons are pleased with how the operation went. He is resting now in
the ICU, where the team will monitor him closely overnight.
The road ahead still has a long way to go. We’re looking at a hospital stay of at least 1
to 2 weeks, and then a waiting period of several weeks after that as we watch to see
how his little body responds. There are no guarantees, but today felt like a step in the
right direction and we are holding onto that.
Thank you for being part of Remi’s village. We are fortunate to be able to be fully
present during every moment of his recovery.
